Dip Week: Dip into Friday

Celebrate Friday with an exceptional dunk: za’atar and roasted red pepper dip.

A spectacular spice, za’atar is earthy and fragrant. You can find it at any Middle Eastern food store and in many natural food aisles. This inventive dip adds the perfect punch of flavor to Sea Salt Peas Please. Here’s how to make it at home.

6 large red bell peppers

5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons za’atar, plus more for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Roast bell peppers in oven; remove and discard skins once cooled. Blend pepper flesh, olive oil, and za’atar until smooth. Salt and pepper to taste.
